Transcript of Video

Bree: In the previous episode, we completed the stucco on the earth bag MusArt Studio.
Bree: Before we start painting, we need to clean off some of the stucco. She has found the perfect tool.
Shae: I get to sweep the eves. Sounds productive. Am I right?
Gary: In order to save a buck or two, we found some tan paint color and we added some forest green. It came out kind of a medium green. We are ready to paint it on.
Bryson: Ready?
Gary: Go.
Shelly: the guys get out there and they paint a section on the building and I'm not liking the color. Gary goes ahead and he adds some more dark green to it.
Gary: Part of winning is experiment. That meant a trip to the store real quick to pick up some more green. But, we did find some. Kind of match it up so you have to put some of this to match it up. it has to be the same. Here si the other color babe. See it.
Shelly: Ya.
Gary: and that's that color.
Shelly: Ya. That's the color of our fence. I like that color.
Gary: By the time I got done mixing all of this paint to get this new color for Shelly, Bryson is gone.
Shelly: It's because of computer problems and...
Gary: Bree's computer crashed. It is an important computer for all of us. With our live streams and with her own work. So, Bryson is in there doing some first aid work on her computer. And I'm left to paint this thing by myself.
Bryson: I abandoned Dad, i feel bad about that, there was a more pressing problem that happened. Our steaming computer took as Kabootsa.
Gary: What's a Kabootsa?
Bryson: Dead. Burned up, Gone. I thought I could fix it but it turned to be a hardware problem. Oh no. What do we do now. Mom looks on Craigs list and finds a great computer. We buy it and I Hackintosh it.
Gary: Mackintosh is taking a Windows platform hardware and putting the software platform from a Macintosh to a windows platform.
Bryson: It is always exciting when you see this screen for the first time. Because it's like..."WE DID IT". The big benefit is you can buys a Windows Computer for a lot cheaper and get a lot more power than buying an original Mac. Installing a Mac operating system, a very high operating system on it, you get an incredible computer. It is equivalent to a high end Mac Pro. It usually take a couple of weeks...It went so smoothly. We we're done in two days.
Gary: What was really cool, was we were able to make the stream.
Bryson: ...And test out the new computer with the stream. We still have some bugs to work out with the streaming. We are getting it. I'm pretty sure Garen will probably tear that computer down its core and back. Which is fine. If he feels he can do it better, I want him to do it.
Shelly: It is so interesting to see this scene come up on a Windows machine.
Bryson: It is so fast.
Shelly: 500 hundred gig of video.
Bryson: it opened...like that.
Gary: If you painted the eves on your home before, it is totally frustrating. Having an air [less] sprayer in your hand doing the eves is the coolest thing. We painted the rest of the house the same under the eve color. Getting ready for trim.
Shelly: I feel really bad, because Gary is trying to accommodate the fact that I didn't like the color, but i'm still not liking it.Well, maybe when Gary take off that plastic down. I will actually like it. It is just not happening. Everybody else likes it. All the kids like it.Gary likes it. I'm thinking...i get up in the morning and I get out there...ok Ilke it. Then as the day goes on......I ..i..I don't know what to say.
Gary:It has to be right. If you are not going to like the color, you are not like looking up there.
Shelly: It is a pretty color. I don't think fits into our desert scheme Because it it looks to me like it belongs on the beach somewhere.
Gary: Aqua blue...
Shelly: Ocean or somewhere. I start looking into some other ways to change the color, sponging, ragging rolling...anything . I'm searching online. We are going to try ands rag it.dark brown or a dark green. And see if we can get a better look.
Bree: So what are we doing today mom?
Shelly: I have a little bit of this dark green.
Bryson: Are you going to tap it?
Shelly: Ya tap it.just kind of splotch ...oh ok. Bree and I go out and we start trying some combinations of colors.
Bryson: I like the color personally. that was underneath it.but you wanted to change it.
Shelly: Sorry.
Bryson: When it comes to the outside, mom is the last decision.
Gary: It kind of looks like dirt.and mud we have around. We might want to go with a more contrasting color.
Bree: Ya. You might want to stand back and look at it.
Gary: ya...
Bree: Look at that. It does look like we did not quite finish it. like the paint is b;itchy.
Shelly: Ahhhh. That's like a pink.
Bree: Oh mom...stop stop.
Shelly: I like the dark green. but everybody likes the white. So we are going with dark green and then Bree is going to put a little bit of white over it.I think i am going to like this a little more.it toned that blue green aqua... I'm really hoping i am going to like this.
Bree: It is that trim color too. It is going to really fun.i think it looks like chocolate mint ice-cream.
Shelly: I like the way you think.
Bree: I think it is really fun.to do something like this on this building. I really like this look too.It is the organic look...Creativity of these shapes and textures too.it hides a lot of the bombs and blemishes on these buildings.
Gary: I'm liking it. It kind of looks like stone...like granite or somethingI like it.
Shae: He is getting it.
Shelly: I thought you had your headsets on. I thought I was safe... to say that out loud.
Bree: That was...
Shelly: It is between my toes.
All: Ohhhh...oooo.
Shelly: That is not comfortable.
Bryson: That was a wow.
Bree: And Perry just watched.
Perry: This is great entertainment. Normally you pay this kind of stuff.
Shae: Did you come down here specifically to build on the building?
Perry: Oh gosh yes.
Shae: That's the whole reason you are down here?
Perry: This is it. So I could learn a new skill. I am now the new plot shaver. I'm getting pretty good at it. I love it. I'm starting higher. Normally you need power tools for something like this. How about that guy. Should I leave him?
Gary: No. Take him off.
Perry: Really? Will this thing go?
Gary: It will take a while but... Ya...
Perry: Is that good? We are done. Professional wood worker.
Gary: Nothing that wood putty wouldn't cover.
Perry: These guys have been just in tuned every inch of the way.
Shelly: I think I'm really fine with the color. You guys are happy with it too?
Gary: Ya Ya.
Shelly: Ok. It actually looks more "deserty" It has a texture...
Gary: Granit, marble type of texture.
Shelly: Ya. And it has hidden a lot of the blemishes around the building. I like that too.
Gary: If you look at it with your eyes closed, It disapears.
Shelly: That's true. That's what we should have done before. Then we would not have had to do the ragging.
Bree: Stay tuned for next time when we continue to build on the MusArt Studio.Just to let you know, we are not going to have a Podcast on this coming Wednesday because we going to help Garen move back home, But we will have that Weekly Peek on Friday. And of course the schedule for the live streams will be returning the next Wednesday after this coming on. Thanks for watching and we will see you next time.
All: Thank You
Shae: Please consider supporting us on Patreon.
Shae: It's a back scratcher. I get to sweep the eves. Sounds productive. Am I right?
Bryson: Watch. Our computers are kind of weird
Gary: Because you built them...There arte weird.
Bryson: "Aspernomical" explosion.
Gary: What's "Aspernomical"
Bryson: Aspernomical is enormous... The biggest thing physically imaginable.
Gary: IS it Asper and Nomical?
Bryson: Oh ya...exactly.
Shelly: Alright, so you can go any moment.
Gary: Wait... Boop
Shae: Our family moved from the city to the country. Thanks for taking part in our adventure.
Shae: We have new video's every Friday evening. If you would like to help us out, you can like this video, share it, subscribe or support us on Patreon. See the links in the description.
Perry: This is going to be Perry's Little Homestead....
Shelly: I love it.
Bree: My Little Homestead. Perry Edition. Hello out there. From the same family every week.We have got news for you.shake it up with a little Perry.Right now we are going to do some sit ups.
Perry: Watch him do his wood work for two hours. It's not the fact that you are going to sit there for two hours. It is that he can work for two hours...
Bree: You had prove it.
Perry: So please do not fast forward.
Shae: Just leave it on for two hours. We can be your motivation for today.
Perry: it works perfect for any home cooked meals.
