Transcript of Video

Bree: In the previous episode the guys begin soundproofing the studio by applying special texture to the walls. We want to personally thank you for all your wonderful ideas on how to bring natural light into the basement and also for the air flow.
Bryson: Thank you for all the good ideas.
Bree: You given us so many great ideas we had a hard time figuring out what you want to pick so let's start out with the
air flow.
Shelly: So the idea that we went with is to go ahead and put a vent on this side and a vent on the other side and both of those will have fans and the air will be coming in on one side and out on the other.
Bryson: So we have our our fans then we got our piping. And the dog, for whatever reason, thought his head would look beautiful in here. and stuck his head in here and it got
jammed on his head.
Gary: This was broken and kind of flopping and stuff.
Bryson: So we're trying to get it off, trying to get it off, get over here I need your help. Hopefully we can salvage it and get some pipe out of it. This is the other piece and basically our fan hooks up to this piece right there and then if it blows hot air or cool air from above and blows it through the vent. This pipe is suppose to stretch out to eight feet but it looks like a few feet is missing.
Bryson: You did not learn first time. Do not stick your head in there. I think he might have enjoyed it.
Gary: That is going to drop down about an half an inch too.
Bryson: That is good too having the fan right here we can reach up there and adjust it.
Bryson: We are putting in the rest of the vent in now. This is going to be our draw. so it is going to draw air from down there and push it out of here.
Gary: Oh yeah it's got to go up about that high. If we can grab the lowest too cold air down there which is at the very very bottom right and pull that up. So, what we'll do is we'll just run that 4 inch by 12 inch pipe, we'll make this like this
and we'll just go right straight down alongside the wall
Bryson: You always need the air flow down there so it also gives a good airflow.
Gary: You get fresh air.
Gary: ...Several really great ideas about putting light into the basement area of the floor and Shelly and I were like traveling around the hardware stores and we bumped into this...architectural glass. so we picked up a couple of these and we'll be installing them in the floor. We have all this great light coming in from above and these four big windows... This is going to be a great big glass lit door. This is one of the great spots. It's coming in to put that architectual block. Another great place in front of the rocket stove is placed... that way we kind of get opposite ends...the most light. Perfect.
Shelly: That's it?
Bryson: Can I?
Gary: Ya. We are going to put a piece in here and another piece in here.
Bryson: Do you think that can handle the weight of a person?
Gary: Ya. Just step on it and see. Easily.
Bryson: My foot didn't go through. That could have been a disaster.
Shelly: It looks awesome.
Bryson: You want some trim around it probably.
Gary: Yup. We will trim it up enventually.
Shelly: It really sticks good to the wood.
Shelly: There is Sugar. that's here first baby. And these two little guys under here. We stopped up the moms and put the little babies in here. It has been down in the teens at night.
Bryson: They are eating the alfalfa above.
Shelly: You can always tell when they're going to have their babies because they're milk sacks are ready to pop in the back. Let see if we can get little guys... Here Bree.
Bree: Come here buddy. Hello. There is a board up here.
Shelly: This little guy is so cute. Here Shae. He will keep you warm.
She: Is he gross?
Shelly: This one one is eating constantly.
Bree: You're my heater.
Bryson: Mamas is coming.
Bree: Oh That one...
Shelly: These two go to Ella. Should we take these guys into the sunshine?
Shae: Out into the cold...
Shelly: It is so cold...Here is your baby.
Bree: Wrong on dude.
Shelly: You did good. Yes you did.
Bree: Yes I know...
Shae: OK. I'm Cold now.I ready to go in now. Plus mine is shaking like a leaf.
Bryson: So we combined a bunch of your ideas all the others to come up with this idea. This goes in here in the wall, collects light from the outside but it all has to come through this whole. It's fairly impressive slide already. We Got to cob around this so... This certain bay here we're going to inline a bunch of reflective foam.
Bryson: Al right. That's it. This section is where we're going to put a sheet of plastic used for a fluorescent light.
Shae: Down in the sound room, we are going to be installing floor but we don't want to do our normal sand/cement ratio, we want something more acoustic. If you have any suggestions, let us know in the comments below.
Bree: Stay tuned for next time we continue building on the MusArt Studio.
All Thank You.

Bryson: Can you do the the chicken dance?
Shelly: I can't do the chicken dance.
Bryson: This is ahhh, When you have been out in the .... You can do the chicken dance. Got to wipe off our feet.
